Max Long has received an AHRC Development Grant for a public engagement project called “The cinema as ‘time-capsule’: using film to capture vanishing worlds,” which will involve making a film with a group of teenagers to coincide with the COP-26 climate summit.

In addition, his article “The ciné-biologists: natural history film and the co-production of knowledge in interwar Britain,” published in The British Journal for the History of Science, was named runner-up for the Royal Historical Society’s Alexander Prize. You can read the article here.

Congratulations to Max on both achievements!
