Divya Subramanian publishes article in Twentieth Century British History

Divya Subramanian, PhD candidate at Columbia, has published an article, “The Townscape Movement and the Politics of Post-War Urbanism”, in Twentieth Century British History. Divya’s dissertation, “Global Townscape: The Rediscovery of Urban Life in the Late Twentieth Century,” examines urban regeneration, aesthetics, and gentrification through the history of the Townscape movement, a British planning movement that emerged in the 1940s.
