Freddy Foks and Chika Tonooka win prestigious dissertation prize

Congratulations to our alums, Freddy Foks and Chika Tonooka, who are the joint winners of Cambridge’s Prince Consort and Thirwall Prize and Seeley Medal! The prize and medal are awarded to those students who submitted the best dissertations to the Cambridge History Faculty in the last academic year. Freddy is currently a Junior Research Fellow at King’s College, while Chika is the Mark Kaplanoff Research Fellow in History at Pembroke. We’re thrilled to see two NYCTC members jointly win the prize – well done to both!
