Many congratulations to George Severs, who has been awarded the Holstein Dissertation Fellowship from the Department of Religion at University of California, Riverside for the academic year 2019/2020. The fellowship brings together a small cohort of doctoral candidates working in the area of queer and transgender studies in religion for networking, writing support, and mentoring at UC Riverside and in the surrounding Southern California area. George’s dissertation research explores the history of HIV/AIDS activism in the UK in the 1980s and 1990s. Congratulations George!
