We are very excited to announce that Sarah Mass will be joining the NYCTC group as lecturer in British history at Columbia! Sarah comes to us from the University of Michigan, where she received her Ph.D. She has published articles on “Save the Market” 1970s heritage campaigns in Twentieth Century British History; commercial subjectivity in mid-century Jewish London in History of Retailing and Consumption; and has a forthcoming piece on Glasgow motorway planning in Urban History. She is working on her book, Defending Localism: Commercial Tradition and Urban Development in Twentieth-Century Britain. Welcome, Sarah!
