NYCTC faculty member Tim Rogan‘s first book, The Moral Economists: R.H. Tawney, Karl Polanyi, E.P. Thompson, and the Critique of Capitalism has just been published with Princeton University Press. It traces a twentieth-century tradition of critiques of capitalism grounded in moral and spiritual instead of materialist factors, whose proponents developed their ideas through the teaching and writing of economics, history, and literature. You can download the introduction from the Princeton University Press website. Congratulations to Tim!
