We’d like congratulate Andrew Seaton (NYU), who has been named the John C. Slater Fellow in the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine at the American Philosophical Society in the 2020-2021 academic year. Andrew will spend the year in residence at the APS in Philadelphia. Andrew’s dissertation, The National Health Service and the Endurances of British Social Democracy, 1948 to the Present, offers a new political, social, and cultural history of the British National Health Service, explaining its lived and ideological significance in Britain and abroad since 1948. Congratulations, Andrew!
