Well done to all our members and alumni who presented their work and/or chaired panels at the North American Conference of British Studies (NACBS) in Vancouver from November 14-17th.
Congratulations also to Roslyn Dubler, who won one of two competitive grants as a runner-up for the NACBS Dissertation Fellowship! Roslyn’s dissertation proposes to write the first history of the international norm of non-discrimination in Europe.
NYCTC members are encouraged to start thinking about prospective panels to submit for the next NACBS. This will be held in Chicago, November 12-15th 2020. We hope for many more NYCTC reunions at future NACBS meetings – including this one of two of our faculty members, Peter Mandler and Susan Pedersen, from last weekend in Vancouver. (Many thanks to Susan for sharing!)
