George Severs presents research on transnational LGBTQ activism at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

George Severs, PhD student at Selwyn College, Cambridge and Holstein Fellow at University of California, Riverside (2019/2020), will present his paper, ‘The ‘challenge of the century’: transnational LGBTQ activism and the birth of Britain’s radical HIV/AIDS movement, from Thatcher to the 1990s’, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on October 11th. This event is held in conjunction with the Program for Sexuality Studies at UNC and will take place from 4-6pm EST at the National Humanities Center.
