Emily Jones’ ‘Edmund Burke and the Invention of Modern Conservatism’ wins Longman–History Today Prize

Many congratulations to former NYCTC faculty member Emily Jones, who yesterday received the Longman–History Today Book of the Year Prize for her Edmund Burke and the Invention of Modern Conservatism, 1830-1914. We were all fans of Emily’s book when we read it in the NYCTC book group last year, and are delighted to see it receive the recognition it deserves! We also wish Emily the best of luck as she begins her new job as a lecturer at Manchester University in the autumn.
