NYCTC member Laura Carter has been working on a project about women historians in Britain during the twentieth century, along with colleagues from King’s College London and the Institute for Historical Research. The IHR hosted a conference in March, as well as installing a “pop up” exhibition of portraits of women historians working in London since the late nineteenth century, which can still be seen at the IHR in London. There is also a website dedicated to the project, featuring a “virtual” version of the exhibition.
