David Cowan wins Duncan Tanner Prize

NYCTC graduate student David Cowan is the winner of this year’s Duncan Tanner Prize, awarded annually by the journal Twentieth Century British History for the best essay by a graduate student. David’s article, “The ‘Progress of a Slogan’: Youth, Culture, and the Shaping of Everyday Political Languages in late 1940s Britain” will appear in TCBH in 2018.
