Over the summer, a number of NYCTC members and past members published articles and had their research featured in the media:
- Jon Lawrence was on Radio 4’s Longview, discussing popular politics from the Primrose League to Momentum.
- Sam Wetherell published an article about Richard Florida and urban planning in Jacobin, and reviewed the University of Birmingham’s biannual Modern British Studies conference for Twentieth Century British History.
- Interventions, the Cambridge intellectual history podcast, interviewed Emily Jones about her research on Burke.
- Anna Danziger Halperin‘s article “‘Cinderella of the Education System’: Margaret Thatcher’s Plan for Nursery Expansion in 1970s Britain” was published in TCBH.
- Laura Carter‘s article “Rethinking Folk Culture in Twentieth-Century Britain” was published in TCBH.
- Emily Rutherford reviewed Redbrick by William Whyte–which the NYCTC book group read in 2015–for TCBH.
